SNOOKER RULES

The rules of the game are as follows

•  It is a game for two

•  It has to be played on a table of size 6 feet by 12 feet

•  The above dimension does not exclude the rails

•  Fifteen red balls and six object balls are used apart from the cue ball

•  The object balls are called colors

•  The point distribution for the colored balls are as follows

•  red-1, yellow-2, green-3, brown-4, blue-5, pink-6, black-7

•  When the red balls are arranged with the rack the pink ball will be placed at the tip of the pyramid. Care must be taken that the Pink ball does not touch the red ball at the tip.

•  The blue ball is placed exactly in the middle of the table.

•  Yellow brown and green balls are placed on the Baulk Line

•  Black ball which has to be potted at the end is kept behind the reds.

•  It is mandatory that each colored ball should be potted after potting a red

•  Black should be potted only in the end and the pocket in which you would pot it should be mentioned prior to the last strike. If black ends up in a different pocket you lose the game
